History

• June 1949

  Established Tsutsui Rivet Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Higashinari-ku, Osaka City, now FCM Co., Ltd.) for the purpose of drawing and selling copper wire (currently conductive functional materials business unit).(Capital: 1 million yen)

• June 1956

  Company name changed to Tsutsui Shinsen Co., Ltd.

• September 1965

  Started metal plating processing of electronic components (currently electronic functional materials business unit, metal plating processing division).

• February 1969

  Transferred the wire drawing business (currently conductive functional materials business unit) to Kyoto Tsutsui Shinsen Co., Ltd. and changed the company name to Tsutsui Co., Ltd.

• July 1980

  Increased capital to expand business.(Capital: 48 million yen)

• February 1991

  In order to increase production in the metal plating processing division, a new plant was established in Yatsuo-machi, Nei-gun, Toyama Prefecture (now Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture).

• October 1992

  Started research and development of plating and chemical processing for non-metallic ceramics, films, etc. (currently in the film and special functional materials division).

• February 1994

  Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. invests in the capital (19.9%)

• December 1997

  Company name changed to F.C. Co., Ltd.

• December 1999

  Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. will be the parent company of the Company.

• October 2000

  Third-party allocation of capital.(Capital: 255 million yen)

• June 2001

  Merged with Tsutsui Electric Co., Ltd. (formerly Kyoto Tsutsui Shinsen Co., Ltd.), which operates an electrical function wire production business(currently conductive functional materials business unit) .(Capital: 273 million yen)

• June 2003

  Company name changed to FCM Co., Ltd.

• April 2005

  Obtained a patent for the three-way alloy plating method.

• February 2007

  Listed on The Osaka Stock Exchange Hercules (currently the Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ Standard).

• February and March 2007

  Increased capital in line with the listing of shares.(Capital: 687 million yen)

• May 2011

  In order to expand the production base and sales base of the electronic functional materials business, the Fukae Kita Plant was established in Higashinari-ku, Osaka City, and the Nagoya sales office was established in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya City.

• July 2013

  The company was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ (Standard) in line with the integration of the Osaka Stock Exchange and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

• August 2016

  Opened a Tokyo sales office to expand sales channels.

• April 2018

  Established a base in the Philippines.

• December 2018

  Asperinto Group SPC5 Co., Ltd. becomes the parent company of the Company.

• March 2019

  The Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ (Standard) was delisted.

• February 2023

  Matsuo Industries, Inc. becomes our parent company.
